Week 11 - Sprint 2


Hey all!  We are back with week 11, which means after this week there's only 1 week left. 

Seeing how this leaves us with only 20 hours per person, we have to start looking at the end goal, and start to finalise everything that still is essential in the game, lets break it down! 

ART


We worked on a lot of UI this week, start screen, HUD, end screen, control screen etc... Here's an example of our HUD :

 

This week our animator tweaked the animations to work better with the gameplay and added this beautiful flowerbomb blooming animation.

Let this blooming flower bombs blow you away.


For vfx we made a shooting effect. 

But mainly focused on implementing.

For the rest we also worked on some sound effects, which we sadly can't show on here, but it's all slowly comin together! 


DEV

Our solo dev has been going at it with a strong pace again this week, implementing almost all the final mechanics to get our game going.

We artists also tried supporting our dev as much as we can with coding so we made the startscreen fully functional and implemented the sounds, animation and vfx with the code Here you can see a preview of our current gameplay
