Week 10 - Sprint 2


Hey guys! We are back with Sprint 2!!
It's time to continue with 3 more weeks of production, let's see what the team did this week.

ART

This week was all about getting the level to look as good as possible, and integrating the vfx and animations.


For the island we worked a lot on lighting and compositon. After playing with the camera we noticed a more isometric view worked way better for readability on the landscape, we also played around with some set dressing and more interesting rock shapes. 
Ofcourse the biggest change here was lighting, we did a full lighting redo to make the scene feel more tropical and come to life. 

On the other side of things, here's some of the animations we did this week.

We also modelled the big tree, this will make the core of our level!

DEV

This week the devs worked on linking animation to the player model. Basic implementation of a punch is also done. There were lots of outdated code files which have been taken care of. And some adjustments to throwing bombs and bomb spawning have been made.
